Alysha graduation

Last night was Alysha's preschool graduation.  During the program, she had to sing many songs and do a lot of movements during the songs.  She did a GREAT JOB!!!  She remember all the words and movements.  I am so proud of her!  She started preschool on September 2005, right after she came back from Hong Kong.  I still remember for the first couple months, she cried everyday when I dropped her off or picked her up, it was because she was always with us, rarely have someone babysit her, so it was very difficult for her to be alone in the beginning.  She was the only child cried during her 1st Christmas performance in preschool.  Later on, she made friends with some of her classmates: Chazmin, Emily, Alyssia, Makala, Rebecca, Lei Lei, Ashley, Emma...and she starts having fun in school.  Her teachers are very patient and nice to her.  I know she will miss her friends in the preschool.  Next year, she will go to Noelani Elementary school for kingergraden.

曼聯--超級聯賽冠軍!!!

我心愛嘅曼聯球隊經過四年的努力下,終於重奪超聯冠軍. 我真係好開心.  其實佢哋今年真係踢得好好,除左朗尼同C朗踢出超水準外,其他的球員都踢得好好, 好似我嘅愛將傑斯, 埸場都交足貨!!!  贏羅馬7:1果埸波更加係今季嘅代表作!!!  佢哋下星期六就會o係足總杯決賽同車路士再鬥過,希望佢哋可以雙料冠軍!!!  (後記: 當晚決賽曼聯在加時比賽下輸0:1)

芝加哥之旅

 I had a chance to attend a conference in Chicago last week.  It was the first time I went there, and it was a great experience.  On Thursday, I taught 3 classes in school, then went straight to the airport to take the 2:00p.m. flight to L.A. then change another flight to Chicago.  The plane arrived at 6:00a.m. and the conference started at 10:00a.m.  I had to do a presentation in this conference, that is to teach other teachers to use the technology (the pictures you see below) to teach math.  There was a lady who came from Michgan stayed from 10:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.  because she wants to learn how to use this technology during this conference.  So, I sat with her for almost 6 hours to teach her to use the system.  Finally, she was happy that she would use this to help her students to understand mathematics better.  I am happy that I was able to help her too.  By the time I went back to the hotel, I was very tired because I didn't sleep for almost 48 hours.

It was cold in Chicago, the temperature was about 40-50 degrees.  The most important trip was taking pictures in front of the Chicago Temple, Michael Jordan status and inside the United Center.  Thanks to my friend for driving me around to visit places.
